1.Pattern paper

2.Typing

3.Drying
Dried with sunlight while sticking the dough to the board.Today, it is more frequently to dry quickly with warm air such as a dryer.
4.Adjustment of color glue
Color paste is prepared by mixing dyestuff into original paste prepared by mixing a small amount of salt with rice flour and rice bran.Because the color of the appearance and the color of the finish are different, craftsmen does reconcile color glue depending on intuition of many years.In order to approach the color of the sample, it is necessary to repeat the test dyeing many times.

5.Ground coloring
Apply color glue with a brush to the fabric on which the pattern was dyed by typing.After painting the color paste, put sawdust over the whole fabric to prevent sticking between the fabrics.
6.Steaming
Fold the dough and hang it, put it in a steamer.Steam it while temperature control is carried out for about 15 minutes to 30 minutes while gradually raising the temperature so that the ground color will be well fixed.
7.Washing
Transfer the steamed dough to the aquarium and rinse it with a sufficient amount of groundwater.Previously, they did this work in the river.A lot of dye companies are on the coast of the Kanda River and the Sumida River because they needed a lot of water to clean the dyes.
8.Drying and Finishing
Dry the dough in the drying room after applying the dehydrator.Previously, the fabric was stretched outdoors and dried in the sun, but because it requires a large site, it is now mainstream to do it indoors.
